  • This project explores and analyzes six troubling issues confronting six clergy couples working together in team ministries: power, control, competition, conflict, 'gender' expectations, and boundaries. Clergy couples in team ministry often face tremendous stress because they are unable to separate their professional relationships from their personal relationships. Recognizing that clergy couple relationships may challenge theological integrity when compromise becomes essential, the project seeks a theology of ministry that is 'credible enough' for clergy couples in team ministry.
