Abstrakt

This dissertation considers building productive and cohesive ministry teams within the local church. The author has designed and implemented a training sequence for ministry teams with the purpose of improving productivity and cohesiveness. Data was gathered using the 'Teamwork Survey', a forced-choice instrument administered to participants prior to and after participation in training, as well as personal interviews. The qualitative data confirmed that training improved productivity and cohesiveness as well as clarity of purpose and open communication in team ministry.
