Abstrakt

Where two or three are gathered: renewing the small church in rural America is intended as encouragement to pastors, leaders and members of small churches. It challenges the notion that small churches in rural America are an anachronism and irrelevant. Divided into three main sections its nine chapters fall equally under the topics of 'Renewing our minds,' 'Renewing our spirits,' and 'Renewing our vision.' Through its investigation, it is demonstrated that small churches in rural America not only have a purpose, but may be a model from which others may learn.
