Abstrakt

This project covers how to foster spiritual transformation in American multicultural churches. Data is based on interviews with pastors from multicultural churches. Conclusions are presented on factors contributing to spiritual transformation: 1) The need for trust and rapport in the community; 2) Principles and practices of spiritual formation must emphasize relationships; 3) Worship should be diverse and emphasized as vital for spiritual transformation; 4) Leadership should be diverse, as well as mature; 5) Conflict-resolution must be intentional and culturally sensitive; 6)Inter-cultural fellowship is achieved through relationally-based strategies; 7) Ultimately, the Holy Spirit is the source of spiritual transformation.
