Abstrakt

The author developed a three-part strategy to introduce, train and equip members of the Mount of Olives SDA Church of Brooklyn, New York on how to do Personal Evangelism. The author first heightened parishioners interest in personal evangelism, then demonstrated that personal evangelism was biblical and created a six-part training program to equip them on how to do personal evangelism. Participants were then given the opportunity to implement the principles they learned in order to determine the effectiveness of this strategy. The study demonstrated that personal evangelism is an effective strategy to grow a congregation. Over the period of a year 8 new members were added using the strategies introduced.
