Abstrakt

This project investigates preparations for transition to meaningful retirement and experiences of retirement among Protestant ministers on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. These retirees are admirably suited, as their individual health and interests permit, for continuing service to churches in training, mentoring, spiritual direction, small-group leadership and other tasks. They should become a reservoir of talent available to churches. A talent bank might reycle their gifts and abilities.
