Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to develop a plan of action to recruit and train a core group of church leaders, to identify and bring into the church potential new members and marginal members. The task enabled church leaders to be involved in ministry. It used the following research methodologies: 1) selected books and resources; 2) congregational analysis; 3) focused interviews; 4) case studies; 5) an action-reflection model. The major reflections incorporated were: 1) a theology of laity; 2) action-reflection model; 3) understanding the potential member; 4) inactive drop-out track.
