  • The problem this project will address is the need for practical curriculum that develops leaders through seminary education in Japan in order to better facilitate church reproduction. Based on the analysis of data through mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative research), the researcher proposed modifying and updating the traditional Japanese seminary curriculum for pastoral ministry. A modified curriculum requires first that seminaries nurture leaders who can lead their churches toward the eschatological vision in Revelation 7:9 as the goal of ministry. Second, it requires that seminaries accumulate and excavate skills from actual Japanese pastoral experience in order to account for specific Japanese characteristics in ministry.
