Abstrakt

The project seeks to find a means for equipping ruling elders to be more effective shepherds in a local congregation through a course of continuing education. It seeks to review relevant biblical, historical, and theological teaching, as well as contemporary challenges and opportunities. Training manuals from other congregations are examined as well. The outcome is a workshop format of material designed to better equip those serving as elders for their task.
