- As the Baby Boomer generation ages many churches are now finding that young people have left their congregations. Churches once filled with children and young families now have empty classrooms and a congregation comprised mainly of empty nesters. This dissertation examines causes of the decline and death of churches to help them determine culturally-appropriate methods to reach the next generation, and those that follow.
