Abstrakt

The author of this document sought to facilitate a joint spiritual practice among married couples at the Happy Corner Church of the Brethren in Clayton, Ohio. Couples using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator [registered symbol] produced a joint spiritual discipline during marital counseling sessions with the pastor. By practicing this discipline together, would they draw closer to God and to each other? Focus groups, journals, and surveys showed the couples benefited from their joint spiritual discipline. By jointly exploring their relationship to God, they drew closer to each other and to God.
