  • This project is a study of the need for ministry to Korean battered women. the project interview was performed to seek the reflections of Korean women on their personal experiences of spousal abuse. The ethnography research revealed how deeply the patriarchal strain is related to Korean culture. Although Korean women have the culture profoundly embedded in their thoughts and actions, this study demonstrates that educational insight will change their thoughts and actions. This study demonstrated through workshops and seminars changing the possibility of their concepts and ideology of the equality between male and female in the image of God. Re-interpretation of the Bible is an issue that all the pastors must take very seriously to correct a gender bias.
