Abstracto
  • This abstract explores the role of narrative process in interfaith dialogue among undergraduate students. The author used narrative process to design and teach a course on interfaith dialogue. Narrative process helped students enter a dialogue that moved beyond the theoretical, to include the experience of 'lived' faith. The author's journal, students' responses to surveys, and a comparison of writing samples led the author to conclude that narrative process is very effective in creating dialogue that deepens personal commitment, encourages self-reflection, and creates the spaces for respectful exchange of differing religious beliefs and worldviews.
