The focus of this project was to develop course content for a Missions Unit at the Baptist Leadership Education Centre of the Baptists Convention of Ontario and Quebec. Chapter one presents an explanation of the need for an introductory course on Islam from a Christian perspective. Chapter two discusses some theological, historical and curriculum development considerations. Chapter three gives the educational goal and objectives, and describes the process of curriculum construction followed. Chapter four contains some personal observations of the author concerning the research conducted. Eleven appendices follow that include pertinent information relating to the project.
