Abstrakt

This project proposes to build a healthy foundation for long-term church growth at Centerville Baptist Church through a mission-morale training strategy derived from the work of Robert D Dale. In this strategy 'mission' expresses a focused, driving force or vision of a leader, while 'morale' indicates the heart and attitude of the person. The project trains and directs the 20-member church council and others in specific leadership skills, including material from the work of James M Kouzes and Barry Z Posner, and the biblical foundations for church growth. With this renewed leadership the church becomes more sensitive and involved in church growth.
