  • The purpose of this project is to equip members of Turning Point Baptist Church in Mulberry, Florida, to live the Spirit-filled life. This project will include: 1) research into the concept of the Spirit-filled life from a biblical, historical, and contemporary context; 2) development of curriculum for a forty-day discipleship training course on living the Spirit-filled life, and 3) equipping members of Turning Point Baptist Church to live a Spirit-filled life. The curriculum includes lesson plans and an interactive student devotional. The devotional contains forty chapters which are designed to be read in consecutive days. Numerous individuals, including experts in the field of the Holy Spirit, critiqued and commented about the curriculum before church members were equipped. Participants in the study met weekly in a small group setting to be further equipped to live the Spirit-filled life.
