Abstrakt

This project sets forth the need for urban workers trained in the context of the inner-city. The proposed curriculum for the urban training school is designated to equip ministers and laymen for church planting in the inner-city. Course offerings include biblical and theological bases for effecting urban ministry. Cultural and social perspectives that come into play in working the inner-city are included in the curriculum. The writer shows the importance of urban workers identifying resources for their ministry such as mobilizing the laity, contexual resources, resources in other church fellowships, and personal characteristics for urban workers.
