  • This ministry project was designed by the writer to help college students improve their relationships with their parents through an understanding of the biblical commandment for children to honor their parents. Seminars taught enhancement of communication, resolutions of conflict, and time and money management skills. The writer measured definite positive cognitive, attitudinal, and behavioral changes in the majority of the project participants. As the students became more aware of their own attitudes and actions, they chose to take a more active and intentional role in seeking healthy ways to relate to their parents.
