- This project defines 'the church' as 'mission,' and proposes that in order for the church to be effective it needs continually to refine and define the mission as relevant to the world. Continuous quality improvement can transform an organization's way of thinking, anticipating, and meeting needs as they occur. The project provides an environment of continuous quality improvement for a local congregation, intentionally refocusing its vision, and continuing to furnish tools of spiritual growth. Its objective is a vision-driven congregation of well-defined mission.
