  • In this project a mission education study course based on Thomas H Groome's shared praxis approach was conducted for 48 persons in five mission-minded Korean Methodist churches. The course content was developed out of a study of biblical and theological foundations of mission, a review of the history of Korean overseas mission, and a survey of present understandings of mission in these same five churches. Questionnaires administered before and after the course indicated changed attitudes toward critical issues in overseas missions policy and practice. The outcome of the study was a set of recommendations pointing toward a new mission paradigm for the Korean Methodist Church.
