Abstrakt

This project introduces a new component to Rhythms of Grace, a formation and worship experience for families with special needs children. The new component included materials to support parents of autistic and other special needs children in their spiritual lives. The parents' response to written materials and participation in the blog, 'Continuing the conversation' was followed and evaluated. The blog reached a broader population than anticipated and its work focused on the themes of hospitality, parenting and children's spiritual development. Concepts of 'community,' the use of the Internet as a religious tool and the theology of disability are also discussed.
