Abstrakt

In this ministry project, the project director developed and proposed a uniform curriculum for pastors of the New Era Baptist State Convention of Nebraska, for use when nurturing interested individuals into vocational Christian ministry. The study included two preliminary caucuses and independent interviews with the pastors, and several training colloquiums where pastors were taught to use this standardized curriculum. Surveys instruments and evaluation tools were incorporated to measure the usefulness of the materials and the director's effectiveness. There was common agreement on the need for a standard curriculum. It was difficult persuading the pastors to responsibly attend the sessions.
