  • The goal of the project was to lead the staff of First Baptist Church of Maryville to be a high expectation staff with a commitment to fulfilling the purposes of the church. Particular attention was paid to issues of staff accountability and motivation. Chapter 1 defines the background of First Baptist Church and the current staffing issues. Chapter 2 addresses the scriptural basis for staff accountability and creating a high level of expectation for those who serve Christ. Chapter 3 examines the management examples from the business world. Chapter 4 describes the steps taken to move First Baptist Church to a high expectation staff.
