Abstracto

This thesis proposes a church-based, integrated, indigenous, and nonformal curriculum to develop leaders in ministry. The writer surveyed the churches and missions in India and South Gujarat. He discerned a biblical theology of New Testament leadership teams and their development. He studied the needs of leaders through a demography survey and developed a curriculum with resources from BILD. This curriculum had three stages: mastering the basic principles, building character and ministry concepts, and doing theology in culture and civilization. The writer assessed the project through initial success stories, identified problems, and recommended ongoing indigenization.
