  • This project proposes a system of strong mentoring relationships within a 'supervised ministry' context in order to equip and empower targeted students from North American Baptist Seminary more effectively. This mentoring model of supervised ministry incorporates increased instruction of both supervisors and students, encouraging guidance within the relationship that gives direction with freedom. In comparison to previous models the guidance and instruction provided in mentoring prove helpful to participant satisfaction. Commitment of those involved to learning and to each other is the most important factor in the relationship of mentor and ministry student.
