Primary components including heritage, past leadership, credibility in the community, pattern of mission, degree of resistance to change, plus other factors, need adjustment to them. Secondary components, alterable, also were reflected in forty-five statements designed, analyzing synergistic 'spirit'. Three churches' leaders responded to the statements on the Likert scale.
