  • This work is an inquiry into the philosophy of postmodernism and the postmodern youth culture. It analyzes ways in which the postmodern worldview is reflected in the religious and cultural value system of Latino celebrities and writers, as well as in the lives of high school students in Miami, Florida. A questionnaire of one hundred twenty-four students and a personal interview with seven Hispanic students reveal an emerging postmodern worldview among Hispanic teenagers both in and outside of the church. Principles of spiritual formation and strategies for reaching Hispanic students are discussed in light of ministry in a postmodern world.
