Abstrakt

This project enlists and trains members of the First Baptist Church (Shepherd, Tex) in a task force to plan, initiate, and conduct an 'off-campus,' out-of-the-building ministry in the community. In nine weekly sessions the training encompasses theological and practical resources for the projected ministry and draws on the experience of other such ministries. The task starts one ministry and lays a foundation for others to be undertaken and supervised by an elected committee of the church.
