Abstract
  • The project develops a curricular model for introducing liberation theology concepts to affluent Christians. Materials include a glossary of terms and an attitudinal survey, which was administered before and after an eight-session seminar. Written material, instructional guidelines and suggested resources for the eight sessions are preceded by theoretical materials explaining the bases of liberation theology. Biblical materials in the study highlight God's solidarity with the poor and oppressed. The approach to biblical interpretation is that of Segundo's hermeneutical circle.
