Abstrakt

This project was designed to lead Hillcrest Baptist Church in revising the by-laws to facilitate its newly adopted vision based lay ministry. Leaders were selected to work with the project coordinator in formulating an initial revision. Next, small group workshops were scheduled to lead the congregation in honing the revision into its final form. The revised by-laws were then adopted by a vote of the congregation. Finally, a leadership survey designed by the project coordinator was used to measure both the success of the project and the resulting growth of the project coordinator in the area of servant leadership.
