  • Organizations are more likely to succeed if the leadership is motivated by mission. This project develops several strategies for leadership to foster a sense of mission. The mission must be clearly defined and participatively developed. Leadership is understood as a gift from God on which one can and should build. The mission must be one the staff can support and incorporate internally. Activities and decisions proceed on the assumption that employees are the organization's most important asset. Clients are viewed as the purpose of the organization's right to exist. Missional barriers are programmed for removal.
