  • The purpose of the project was to implement a video projection system to visually assist the sermon. The congregation was separated into two groups for a period of eight weeks. One group experienced video-assisted sermons and the other did not. Each group was tested for retention of the sermon message. Results from the testing were further divided into five generations present in the church. Statistically it could not be said that greater retention was gained by video-assistance. However, more than fifty percent of the three youngest generations wanted video-assisted sermons every week and seventy-three of all five generations wanted it at least monthly or more often.
