Abstrakt

A slide presentation is developed as support for congregations that are changing pastors. Objectives include understanding the United Methodist appointment system, emotional responses to moving, and offering a planning tool. 'The Move Pac' for Pastor Parish Relations Committees, Pastoral Move Task Force, East Ohio Conference is reviewed. Evaluations, implications, conclusions, sources consulted, The Move Pac, and the actual slide show script, theological rationale, background on East Ohio Conference activities, a dialogue with Elisabeth Kübler-Ross' stages of grief, and biblical exegesis are included.
