Abstrakt

The purpose of this ministry research project was to develop a model to increase the involvement and effectiveness of leaders in transformational leadership. Chapter 1 gives an historical insight about Corinthian Baptist Church. Attention is given to the reason why there needs to be change of leadership in Corinthian Baptist Church. Chapter 2 begins with a biblical and theological analysis about transformational leadership and the need to place a biblical pattern for developing and training leaders. Chapter 3 presented an investigation of transformational leadership process and the use of leadership in two different styles. Chapter 4 describes the ten week process of equipping a selected group of leaders of the Corinthian Baptist Church to initiate a transformational leadership ministry with specific emphasis on leadership. Chapter 5 evaluated the effectiveness of the ministry and further applications for the research.
